After I initially installed Windows 8 internet access was fine. Now for some reason when I connect my laptop wired or wirelessly to my router I do not get an IP address assigned from DHCP and therefore no internet access even though the machine is connected to the router. Other devices connected to the router running windows 7 work fine.
