As the title says. Microphone is not working. Voice/chat/VOIP proximity voice it's a huge flaw in the game. I am not the only one complaining, i see a lot of people here and reddit with problems. And let me say i tried all the fixes available! I use mic in steam/ts/discord and in many many other games without any issue. Here it simply doesn't work.

Lately, not sure exactly when it started, CS:GO is not responding to my push to talk. My mic will work sometimes in the lobby, but ingame when I push v (my talk key) nothing happens. No icon, no communication. It's really depressing to play competitive without mic. Then when i go to talk on the server, i hit the ptt button, but it does not light up. So i've had to settle with voice activation (which does work). It worked on the original server i was on, but any other server i logged on to, the ptt would not work.

And btw, Steam should be set to use a push-to-talk key, and trasmit volume set accordingly (use the test microphone button). Mic is definitely plugged in and working, not muted. SHowing feedback on skype. But push to talk isn't working at all. I went into audio, and for some reason push to talk was disabled. I've been playing with the settings, and nothing is getting it to work. I havn't seen many other people mention this, but it's definitely a PITA.

For some of our readers, they have found that a workaround to getting the microphone to work is to change the Input mode from Voice Activity to Push to Talk in the Discord Settings. The only downside to this method is that it requires you to press a button all the time when you want to talk to someone. I've been using push to talk for the last two weeks and suddenly it's stopped working. - My mic definitely works (have been using it with teamspeak) - The mic is showing up in ME3 options correctly - Push to talk is turned on in options - The keys are bound to tab and b.
