Jan 19, 2011 · I have several wdtv live boxes as well as a roku. The wdtv's are use exclusively to view content off a external usb HD plugged into the wdtv box. I like this method vs streaming from my pc etc but all of a sudden one wdtv box stopped recognizing/playing mkv files. When I try and play the same mkv files on the other wdtv boxes they play perfectly.
